Welcome ESOL
This course provides a safe, culturally sensitive, and welcoming environment for adult immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers to gain essential beginner-level English language skills necessary to navigate and settle in New York City. Sixteen original two-hour lessons with a predictable structure include content-relevant discussion pictures, conversations, vocabulary, grammar points, helpful websites, stories, and review discussions. This predictability allows learners to focus on skills and content, enhancing their confidence.

Citizenship Preparation Course
This multi-level, learner-accessible course provides a safe and welcoming environment for adult immigrants to prepare for their naturalization interviews and tests. Twelve original lessons with a predictable structure include English small-talk practice, command comprehension, clarification language, USCIS reading and writing exercises, N-400 (Application for Naturalization) vocabulary-in-context question-and-answer activities, engaging civics lessons, and helpful grammar reviews. English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are practiced throughout.

Citizenship Preparation Group (Volunteer-led)
This curriculum comprises twenty-four original lessons that follow a predictable routine and structure, allowing students to focus on developing their skills and content knowledge. Each lesson includes a visual introduction, a warm-up small talk question, an overview of the naturalization interview and test, N-400 section-specific question examples, a civics topic, USCIS reading and writing preparation, and a mock interview review.
